I've been dealing with Hill's Auto Repair since 1990 for car inspections and normal maintenance and repairs and they have always been honest, courteous, friendly and helpful. They get the job done in a timely manner and treat me with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend Hill's Auto Repair for whatever car maintenance and repair you may need. And their prices are reasonable.

An hour into our Saturday morning 4-hour Memorial Day weekend trip, the brakes on our vehicle seemed mushier than usual and we wound up 10' into the intersection at a red light. (Luckily, that little old lady could move faster than I thought! ;^) Picked Hill's at random and he said bring it right in and he'd have a look. Within 5 minutes he had discovered serious problems with the front rotors (outer surface of the rotors looked reasonably ok with some pitting, but the inner face was seriously corroded and flaking off in big chunks! Pad on inner side was almost down to nothing.). He had us on our way in no time with new rotors and pads on the front, rescuing our trip and, not to be melodramatic, probably saving our skins, too, since we were headed over some mountain roads! If I lived within 50 miles of Ranson, WVA, Hill's would be my mechanic without a doubt. PS - I had told my "real" mechanic in Maryland to check the brakes just 1000 miles before this because we felt something wasn't right with the brakes. They assured us everything was ok, noticed pitting on rotor, and claimed it was fine for them on a test drive...obviously they didn't do a thorough inspection and definitely couldn't have pulled off the tire and rotor to inspect it. I'm taking the brake rotors in to show them what they missed. Not looking for any compensation from them, but they need to know they didn't do a thorough job and missed what Hill's discovered in 5 minutes.
