Sube Shop

These guys are like an old-time shop, but they only work on Subarus. As with an old-fashioned repair place, it may not be the cleanest, and you may get a mechanic with tattoos or piercings (not exactly old-fashioned), but they know their stuff about Subarus, and have the most reasonable prices for miles.

Ernie (the owner) is a good man and has never steered me wrong. I've been there 4 times and each time he's been straight forward and honest. A loyal customer he has gained and I recommend him to everyone.

The Sube Shop is terrific!! I actually bought my car from Ernie and have a great warranty. Every repair, thus far, has been done quickly which is very important since my family only has one car. If you live anywhere near Morgantown, or know someone you can stay with in Morgantown, you should absolutely bring your Subaru to the Sube Shop!

I can't say enough great things about The Sube Shop. I have had my car in a few times, and the service has been impeccable. As a woman, I have at times felt like mechanics and such have not treated me as they would treat a male client. This is not the case with the guys at The Sube Shop. They're all very nice and respectful. I've found that they provide exceptional service for a great price.

The Sube Shop is a good dependable place with nice owner/staff. Prices are fair and posted. Highly recommend for the big jobs.

We had a rebuilt engine put into our 96 Legacy. A month later it blew a head. The Sube shop replaced the engine free of charge, not even charging Labor. In addition they gave us a years worth of oil changes and tune ups free of charge. The shop gets more repair business than the Subaru dealer 3 blocks down the street. (Which makes the dealer crazy.) Ernie, the owner, goes far beyond the normal customer service of other shops. He generally has a lot of repeat customers. Some of his customers will drive the 90 miles down from Pittsburgh to get his service on their cars.
