Bill is a friendly guy, but his mechanic, Shawn, needed three
attempts to fix (but still not fixed) a leaking
transmission pan. He even caused a check engine light to
come on that was previously not on. He told me the code was
related to his dropping the tranny pan as he may have
accidentally dislodged a sensor in transmission. The FIPG
(formed in place gasket) job was very sloppy in that he put
TOO much and it was squeezing out of the tranny pan all
over the place. I got home and the next morning the ATF
was still dripping. I had had enough of Shawn's 2nd rate
work and went to another shop instead. The second shop
ridiculed whoever previously (Shawn) put on the FIPG and
told me they had dented my pan, as well. Needless to say, I
DO NOT recommend Bill's for proper, high quality
transmission repair. The second shop did a fabulous job the
first time, and for less.
