I've often felt at a disadvantage trying to communicate with guy mechanics (I'm female and have no mechanical knowledge, not even powder puff). But these guys are great at explaining things. They told me I needed a new tie rod, and I said, "what is a tie rod, anyway?" So they took me back into the shop to look at my car on the lift, showed me where the loose tie rod was, and explained it wasn't an urgent repair, but that I'd need to do it fairly soon. No pressure! They've had my car more than a few times, and I've always been happy with the work, the price, and their ability to both listen and explain.

I've had a lot of experience with Stoughton Tire over about 15 years. They always take care of my car problems and seem to be honest about it. I've never felt that I've been over-charged and sometimes I think they (believe it or not) under-charge. Good guys to work with, too.

I had a problem that nobody could find the cause of, and these guys had the answer. The problem was intermittent, so it was hard to get it to them when it happened. I kept taking it to them, and they kept driving it around and testing it. They didn't charge me for any of the times until they found the problem and fixed it, so they put more hours into it than I paid for, for which I am grateful, and they did it quickly, and did a great job taking the time to explain the problem to me.
