This shop is right near were I work. One of my co-worker started going for an oil change and it was cheap and they did a good job. Then I was going to need $2000 of work on my Summit according to the dealer. There was no way I could afford it. They looked at the car, fixed what needed fixing, gave me a list what could wait and what was just an unnecessary expense. That was 7 yrs ago and that Summit is still running great. The only thing they won't do is transmission and cooling systems but they've given me names of some really good, fair guys to do that work also. I now have a new car as well and it's going to them also. It's convent for oil changes (I never miss one this way) and there half the price of the dealer. They never treat you like your dumb. The neat thing is they know our names now and the number where we work. It's great!

Did not answer the "respond well when they screw up" because they haven't screwed up on any of my work. Very good service. Friendly, knowledgeable, quick. They have excellent word-of-mouth at my employer (located in the neighborhood) They don't try to upsell you. Went in for an oil change, they told me I needed new tires, handed me an estimate and told me to comparison shop and sent me on my way, rather than calling me at work and trying to get the new tires sold that day. The neighborhood is fine; the shop is in the city, not suburbia, so what do you want--you want a place that looks pretty or do you want a darn good job done on your car?
