Andy has worked on our Subaru many times. The first time I called him about my car problems he diagnosed it over the phone & said the dealership should fix it since they screwed it up. I went to the dealership and lo and behold they couldn't find anything wrong in their test drive but of course it kept dying when I drove it. I took it to Andy and he fixed the problem, it was exactly what he had told me over the phone. We've also had an alternator go out downtown on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend. He came downtown, installed a new alternator right where we were parked in about 1/2 hour. I barely had time to get an icecream cone! He always explains things very well and stays within his estimate. He's been wonderful!

I used to bring my '94 Civic to another repair shop in the area, but then they started to pressure me to get rid of the car, saying that there was "too much rust" and that anything on it could "die at any moment". So for my next repair I brought it to Any (at Shadetree) and he just fixed the problem. That was almost 2 years ago, and the car still runs great.

I cannot believe how helpful Andy was in fixing our Subaru that had been stranded in Hood River on our way from Portland to Idaho. After calling two other shops that treated me like a major inconvenience, I called Andy when I returned to Portland to see if he would go pick up my car and diagnose the problem. He agreed to and picked up my car later the same day. That night he called me with the diagnosis and price to fix. After repairing only what needed repair, and not some of the other stuff included in the quote, he coordinated the return of the car. When asked how to pay him, he replied that I could send him a check after driving the car to make sure the repair had worked. Even though he's an hour away, I would definitely drive to see him (assuming I could) next time our Subaru needs repair.
