When I first went there to have them check out my CV boots. The front office man noticed that I had a new water pump and made the comment that it appeared that I do try to maintain my car. I told him that I do. He seemed to appreciate it when owners try to maintain their wheels, no matter how old or high mileaged it is. Needless to say, I did need new CV boots, got new one piece boots, both upper and lower boots, installed for approx $97 a side, including labor. Not bad. I go to have major work, like valves adjusted when needed. Never had a probem and the car was fixed in a proffesional, timely manner. (I believe that Mark and Gary, the counter persons, may be christian since they have seemed to have manners and respect. The shop is always clean and tidy, not to mention, friendly. The advice is good. I understand that the machanics used to work for Honda Dealers and felt that they could do better offering excellent service w/ lower labor charges would encourage owners of older Hondas to have them serviced. My Honda is a 1983 Honda Civic Hatchback w/ 176K+ miles on it and it stills runs great. Doesn't smoke either.

I don't know why these guys aren't already on this list. Everyone I know who has been to them has been thrilled. They are very straight-forward, the car always runs great when it comes home, and they've saved us hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars by fixing what was really wrong, not trying to milk us. Last time we took it in, they replaced a burned-out light without being asked and for no extra charge! They also give great referrals for work that they don't do.
