I live in Renton, but whenever my car breaks down, I either limp it along or have it towed all the way to Shoreline, so that Peter can work on it. I GUARANTEE that you will not have a less expensive repair unless you work on it yourself (and maybe not even then). Peter does not mark parts up, and if you want to provide your own part, he is fine with that too (he does not warranty work on parts you provide, but that is a fair policy). I once had an alternator fail (Fairwood Auto Service in Renton quoted over $900 to repair it, including the alternator, tensioner, computer, and labor (I had not had any problems with the car prior to this). Peter had me back on the road for $154.42 parts, and $60 labor. My voltage gauge is right where it should be, there are no check engine/check gauge lights lit on my dashboard, and the car works fine. Peter was not able to find any problems with either my tensioner OR the computer. GREAT, HONEST SERVICE. Two thumbs up (and I'd give more if I had 'em)
