Ron's is a little bit hard to find because it's tucked behind a building but it's worth the search. I've lived in Seattle for 18 years and it took me a long time to find a mechanic I trust implicitly with my car (Toyota). Except for a muffler which I foolishly had replaced at a regional psuedo-midas, Ron has done all the work on my car. It's now over 10 years old and in perfect running condition. I can take my car to Ron, hop on a bus to go to work, and he'll call when my car is ready. He always gives a time when it should be done and it is always done earlier than that. Ron is a nice man and a real throw-back to the days when you had honest relationships with your mechanic and with your mechanic, car, and yourself.

Ron is great! We'd recommend him to anyone looking for a competent mechanic with reasonable rates who ALWAYS has the work done on time. We've been taking our Toyota Corolla there for over 4 years now for regular maintenance as well as to fix some muffler problems, and he has always done a great job on it. It's still running great, and he helps keep it that way. His rates are great, and he's always been very up front with us about things that need to be fixed. His shop is a bit hard to find, but once you find it you won't forget it, because you'll find great, friendly, honest service there.

I've always driven clunkers. More than once I've had Ron fix something minor (broken light, loose wire) quickly, at no charge, and he'll tell me he'll charge me next time the car has to stay in for repairs.
