I previously had my vehicle repaired at my local garage. The check engine light came back on the next day. My local garage charged me $375 and we're not able to repair the car. Pacific Rim was able to pin point the problem and in addition suggested some additional work that the previous shop had missed. If they had not found this work in the long term I would have had to pay twice. I appreciate how they took the time to look over my car completly. I use my car for work and can not have it break down on me. They even gave me a loaner car while my car was in the shop. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

My Honda was begining to have some problems. I went to two other shops before Pacific Rim. Both previous shops insisted my Honda needed no repairs or service. Pacific Rim was able to find all my problems. My goal was to keep my Honda on the road for just a few more years. With the help of Pacific Rim I was able to do just that.

I don't know how we survived before we discovered Pacific Rim. We trust them completely. They're friendly, responsive and informative. Their location is convenient. They remember you by name, and they keep impeccable records of our vehicle repairs and maintenance schedules. They treat you with kindness and respect. They are equally helpful with our newer vehicle and our ancient one. The fact that they provide loaner cars is an enormous plus. Even if we just get an oil change, they wash and vacuum the car. When we buy a new car in the next few weeks, we'll take it to them for service, versus the dealer.

They are without a doubt some of the best mechanics I have ever worked with.

I started smelling a burning smell in my 2000 Forester. My boyfriend looked under the hood and could see oil/grease on the exhaust manifold. I took the car in and Pacific Rim found that the CV boots were both open and dumping grease onto the manifold. They took the time to go all through my car and found that an oil o-ring in the front of engine was leaking and that the lower ball joints were completely shot. They also recommended two other 100,000+ mile maintenance things: timing belt (and related water pump maintenance), and replacing the battery which was oozing acid all over the place. My bill was high: $2000 ($1200 labor & $800 parts). But, I easily could've said "no" to some of their recommendations, because they were more suggesting than trying to hard-sell me on the additional repairs. I didn't get the feeling that they were trying to talk me into anything unnecessary. I took my car in at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday morning, got a phone call from them by 10 a.m. regarding what needed to be done. They said it would take until Thursday to get everything done, but had my car done a day early. The parts & labor are warrantied for a year, they gave me a loaner car to use while my car was in the shop, and they washed the car and detailed the inside. I chose Pacific Rim for the excellent reviews that I found on this website, and I was not disappointed. Their attitude and customer service are excellent and THAT is what will keep me going back to Pacific Rim.
