Darin (owner) and Mark (manager) have always been courteous and always take the time to explain what problems are going on under the hood. I've spoken with a couple of their mechanics and they seem to be top-notch guys. One thing you need to watch out for - during routine oil- changes they like to snoop under the hood and point out problems that they recommend to be fixed. Once they recommended a new PVC valve since my current valve looked like it had not been changed since it emerged from the factory. However, I changed the PVC valve personally the week prior. Hmmm ... Ending on a good note though - my alternator died and I was able to limp the car with the remaining charge in the battery to within a block of the autoshop. Instead of having the car towed, the owner, Darin, brought over and installed a battery so I could drive the car over to the shop. Repairs were completed the same day. How's that for customer service? With great customer service and 7-days-a-week operation I give these guys a thumbs up!

July 2000 we brought in our 1992 Honda Accord DX because it failed a WA state emissions test. We were told it was just a PCV valve, $10.99 part. The labor, however, was $67.00. The total bill was $89.04 and we were handed a documnent that included the following: "Diagnostic Results: Satisfactory. The fuel system is functioning within normal operating limits." After spending the nearly $100 we went back and our car failed the state emissions test AGAIN. We then went to a local Honda dealer and were told it was the o2 sensor and after paying an additional $322 for that, the car finally passed the test. I cannot recommend Precision Tune at 1222 E. Madison, 98122.
