Dave is going to retire but he's left the place in the capable hands of Carl
and Mark. They do most (all) the work anyway.
We have a Subaru Outback that started making a funny ticking noise after
the dealer did a timing belt. They redid it with the same result so I took it to
ICS to have them look at it. They couldn't solve it either but now they give
me reports of other Subarus that have started the same noise. That was 50 K
miles ago. The car now has 156k on it and still fine.

I have been to a few repair shops in town. ICS is by far
the best I have ever dealt with. I would recomend them to
anybody with an import.

After just moving to the Pullman area, my Honda's engine
maintenance light popped on. On a reccomendation from a co
worker, I took my car to ICS. They diagnosed the problem,
had the parts delieved (even charging me for only half when
two parts showed up), did not charge me for part of the work
in the original estimate which apparently had been done by
the prior owner, and had the car done the next day.
Carl, the owner, is very presonable and goes the extra mile
- even staying late to finish my car himself by the agreed
upon time.

My daugters car broke down in Pullman and I live 150
miles away. I called this place and told then the noise in
the right front wheel was probably a CV joint or bearing
going out. I had the car towed there and he took the front
wheel off and checked everything out and nothing was
wrong. He suspected a rock stuck in between the brake
caliper and rotor. Being it was long distance he could
have told me anything and charged me whatever he wanted,
what was I going to do about it from 150 miles away. He
charged me for about a half hour of labor which I thought
was more than fair. They are honest and I would recommend
them whole heartedly.

They are extremely honest. One time the owner, Carl, told
me how much it was going to cost to fix my car. I said
something like "okay it will be about that much" and he
acted like "them's fightin' words." I honestly hadn't
meant to be insulting, I just figured that once they
actually start working on the car they might find something
wrong that they hadn't realized or that it might take them
more time than they thought it would or something. But
when he gives you an estimate it is to the penny and that
is exactly what he charges you. He told me that he figures
he could make a few bucks cheating somebody one time only
and that he prefers to do a very good job and be very
honest about it and get repeat business. It apparently
works because they are always busy.
They are only open 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through
Friday, but they have a little check-off card that you can
fill out after hours to describe what is wrong with your
car and what you want them to do and you can drop the card
with the keys to your car into a lock box at any time. Or
if you need it he will also let you drop off your car and
will give you a ride to work.
They are extremely competent and efficient. They can tell
you what is wrong with your car and exactly how much they
will charge you to fix it. They are extremely honest and
really go the extra mile for the customer. Carl, the
owner, is extremely friendly, easygoing and personable. If
you have an import, you cannot do better than to take it to
the Imported Car Service in Pullman!
