Twice, for two different issues (hung up parking brake, stone noisily lodged in front suspension), they didn't charge me for diagnosis & repair! Unheard-of! And in either case they could have told me I needed $400 worth of work and I'd have believed it.

I rented a Chevy Impala from Avis at the Seattle airport and was driving to Olympia to visit my daughter. About 4 miles from my exit a warning light CHECK LEFT FRONT TIRE PRESSURE appeared. I got off the freeway, noticed the tire was low and filled it with air. I took exit 108 (Martin Way) where my hotel was located and asked at a self-serve station for a tire place and was directed to Gary's Tire Factory just down the road. These guys are amazing. Not only did they find a nail in my tire, they fixed it without charge, even though I was not an Olympia resident and it was a rental car. One of the mechanics showed me a book describing the tire sensor system on the car and what to look for if it happened again. Two thumbs up for Gary's Tire Factory! If I lived in Olympia, I would be a regular customer.
