Very knowledgeable in Volvos; especially 240's. Honest, technically competant. Willing to work with owners on best solutions. Stand by their work, will readily with customers to work off any mistakes. I've had a very good experience with Steve Rice (owner).

Steve Rice and Pat have worked on my 82 DL Wagon for 12 years and my car just turned 300K miles. They are very knowledgeable, work to the bests interests of the customer and I highly recommend them.

Steve is the owner. He has been working on Volvos since 1978. The first time I came in and said, "This is what's going on with my car. What's the problem??" He told me he didn't know until he looked at it. All he knew were the symptoms I had told him. It could be a variety of things. He was very calm, straight forward and assured me he didn't want to waste my time or his with speculation. I was driving a genuine POS at the time. (Volvo 760 Turbo, 1985) I appreciated this. I have gone to mechanics who start out knowing what the problem is and start fixing it before they have looked at all the symptoms. I bought my second Volvo (1989 240 DL) from one of his customers because I knew it had been receiving quality work.
