My Ford was towed to Arlington Auto Care because it was the closest garage. It's owner, named King, introduced himself and immediately explained what was wrong, how much it would cost, and when it would be ready. I believe I was one of their first customers. King explained that he and his colleagues had worked for dealerships for a long time, and had decided to branch out on their own. He also explained that they did a lot a testifying in court on behalf of individuals who needed expert witnesses about cars. I was impressed. Not only by the quality of the work , but also by his and his staff's honesty. As I continued to go to King, I was pleased to see their business grow, but no matter how busy they were, the quality of their work never went down. They are located next to the Balston Metro on the Orange line, which is convenient for work. They are also open on Saturdays. I have since moved to Massachusetts, and I am still looking for a mechanic as talented and honest as King and the Arlington Auto repair shop. Phone (703) 841-0558

Because they are closest to my home, I went there a few
times for different things. I thought I loved the place.
Then a year ago, they failed my inspection and insisted that
there was only way to fix my problem and gave me the quote.
I researched the problem online and found out they were only
quoting me the more expensive way to fix it.....the way that
it's quickest and easiest for them to find parts, but costs
the customer much much more. I took it to a different
mechanic; the new guy offered both ways of fixing it,
without my prompting him, but when he actually looked at the
car, said it didn't need fixing at all. Whoever told me it needed repair was nitpicking at me to make a buck. He
passed my inspection. I will NEVER return to Arlington Auto
Care again.
