Ralph and his coworker were very kind and knowledgeable. Told me what the problem was and fixed it at a very reasonalbe price. Being a female, Im always cautious about mechanics because there are so many of them out there that are dishonest and overpriced, but not these guys. I will definately return for future repairs. They even came and picked me up from my house when my car was ready. Thank you so much!!

Been in Business for over 20 years. Has a very strong knownlege of both domestic and forin cars. Is honest as to rather or not it can be fixed and how long it will take.

Ralph has serviced our cars for 20 years--since I was a teenager he's worked on my mom's cars as well as mine. We recently tried another guy who said he was an "imports specialist" with our BMW, and he wanted $2,000 worth of work before he could pass us for inspection (after we'd paid him $2K for another repair already). We parked the car and went with one car for a while to save up. After several months I decided to go back to Barlow for a second opinion, and he fixed it for $100 and it passed inspection the same day. The issues the other mechanic brought up weren't even a problem. Ralph is so honest and straightforward and seems to really be concerned about getting the best price for us. One comment from him was so indicative of how empathetic he is: When I told him I wished I had brought him the car for a second opinion right away, his response was "Well, we were all just really worried about that $2K price tag you'd been given." He really does think about it as a "we" problem. Long live Ralph Barlow and long live Barlow Automotive!
