It started with a loud "Clunk" 800 miles from home. It ended with a phone call that the transmission was fully repaired and could be picked up from their shop near my home. In between was Freeway Transmissions going far above and way beyond their legal responsibilities. Thank you for extending your warranty coverage even though there was no legal requirement to do so, just a feeling that it was the right thing to do in this particular circumstance. Words alone cannot express our appreciation for the integrity of Freeway Transmissions. We honor them for being what all businesses should be but very few are, honest and with the customer's best interest foremost in their practices. We recommend them to our friends and neighbors with the confidence that they will receive the best possible professional service available in the Salt Lake City area.

I needed a shop to do warranty work for a leak in a transmission rebuilt by another shop. The original shop paid one half. Mario did the work and put everything in order. He advised me on a leaky differential and referred me to another shop for the work. They seemed competent, were friendly, and worked out all the necessary complications in excellent fashion. I felt very lucky to find them. The questions "They respond well to screw ups," "They treat male and female customers in the same manner," and "They fix the problem the first time" either don't apply or I have no way to know the answer at this time. The correct answer is "n/a" but this answer was rejected. I entered the ReCaptcha codes twice even though it it not possible to position there with the mouse. This site needs work on its user interface.
