This whole shop is a very big step above average. Charges are reasonable, they do the work in a timely fashion and will try to move "I'm affot until I get my car back" cases out as fast as they can. Honesty and common sense mix to provide an air of trustworthyness that has had me coming back for 9 years with a series of old and new vehicles. If one of the guys says that a repair needs to be done, I say do it. When they said "don't put any more money into that old pile of junk," I bought a new car. When they said that the old truck really did not need some expensive work, I jsut needed a new thermostat, I paid for the thermostat and was not worried about overheating "in the middle of nowhere." I have never been less than satisfied with D&S. (How many businesses, of any type, can you say that about?) All around good guys and great mechanics. Only negative I can list about them is that they are not open on weekends. But they will drop you in the area, and work some long hours during the week. Oh yeah, they are not convient to public transortation because they are in Texas, where public transportation is not convient.

In addition to the normal maintenance and repairs, Steve
nursed my Mazda through some mysterious things. He talked
me through everything and would try the simplest fixes
first. He said he wouldn't "hundered dollar me to death".
