I have had several cars repaired at Cool Air, Volvo's and a Mercedes. Always air
conditioning work althogh they are full service. Their work has been
professional and very reasonable. They have never tried to "load up" a repair.
Only what is required and their advice is solid.

Wayne and his staff have repaired problems that other shops and dealers could not solve. When stumped, he discusses the diagnostic work he performed and makes excellent referrals, including to a dealer on one occassion. He does not charge when he is unable to fix a problem. On one occassion, after a hose had broken and he discovered blown head gaskets on a relatively new car. He suggested that I take the car to the dealer because it may still be under warranty. It was, but the dealer denied it. Wayne stored my car at no cost for two weeks while the warranty issue was resolved. (The dealer had not registered the extended warranty purchased by the former owner with Ford.)

We were very pleased to find their reliable, competant facility. I would strongly recommend them to any and all, especially those who are recent transplants to the area.

My 2004 Mazda hit some concrete in a construction zone, was
bent up and leaking oil, the air stopped working, and just
in general, it was a very sad little car. I found Cool Air
via the Car Talk website, and was extremely pleased to find
the place live up to and exceed sentiments expressed by
other folks herein. Wayne and Amy were both extremely
helpful, regularly following up with me to explain options
and reasoning, were EXTREMELY fair about pricing, and
helped interface quite a bit with my insurance company. A
situation that could have been a nightmare turned into a
well managed, painless experience.

Our entire family has been going to Cool Air for over 20
years. They are totally honest and will give you an
explanation of the repair and an honest, fair estimate.
Work is always performed in a timely manner and work is
guaranteed.
Wayne, Bill, Connie, and Amy are always pleasant and
helpful.
Would recommend them to anyone.
The name Cool Air is a misnomer as they are essentially a
full service repair facility and have agreements with other
reliable repair shops for work that they do not perform,
such as a transmission overhaul.
