OK - I first took my car to this facility almost a year ago. Had car towed 7 times in a month and a half. Tow truck drivers kept telling me to take the car here - I figured that was not a good sign. They were always telling me if I'd taken the car there I wouldn't still be calling them. Boy were they right. Car had a cracked head - and Gilbert was the only mechanic - out of 5 places I took it to who correctly diagnosed the problem the FIRST time. I think I got 4 new radiator caps and had the cooling system flushed 4 times. Money I wouldnt have had to spend if I'd taken it here first. This shop seems to have all the very latest technology so it's not just hit or miss. They have worked on my car 5 or 6 times in the last year and the problem is ALWAYS corrected the first time. One positive thing that I think helps is that Gilbert is the owner and ALWAYS on the premises and available to speak to you. I will never go anyplace else!!! And - the shop is very clean and everyone working there has always been VERY curteous!!!!!

Being a female and getting your car worked on is scary. I'm always afraid I'll be taken advantage of. With Computer Age, I've never felt this way. I am a devoted customer who will always entrust them with my investment.

It is a pleasure dealing with Gilbert and his staff (many family members). Not only are his estimates accurate, but he tells you when the work can be deferred until a later time or consiquences of not doing the work. I did try another mechanic when he was busy only to get burned. I will remain a loyal customer in the future. He has my complete trust and that is not easy with my skeptizm. My only concern is that he might get too much business to maintain his good service with good customer recommendations from people like me. Oh well, I think they deserve it.

Gilbert is very Honest. I thought I had major electical problems but he checked it out and only had to replace a fuse. He didn't make something up and charge me an arm and a leg.

The week before I dropped my car off at Covert Ford on 183N. They came back with a laundry list of problems including transmission fluid, engine coolant, full brake job, etc. with an estimate around $1000. I had my doubts since less than 6 months earlier (and fewer than 2000 miles) I was told by my old mechanic in Houston that the breaks didn't even need pads. I didn't get the work done at Covert and coincidentally my "service engine soon" light came on the following day. Computer Age was recommended to me by a co-worker and found every repair listed by Covert to be either unneccessary or a wrong. The service engine soon light was even due to Covert's mechanics not properly replacing the engine coolant cap causing pressure problems. Computer Age also took the time to explain everything. I feel more at ease knowing there is at least one trustworthy shop in town. I highly recommend them.

We have taken our cars to Computer Age for the last five years. They don't always get it right the first time, but they will keep trying until they do without additional costs. I feel they are honest and very good at what they do.

Gilbert has had lots of opportunities to screw me and never has done so. They always call with a firm estimate and only fix what is needed. They have worked on my American cars and kids' Volvos (and told me when to take them to a Volvo Specialist). I highly recommend them.
