The staff at both Danny's locations are great.
Originally, I took my car to the Lewisville location as I
worked nearby. Now that I have changed jobs I take my car
to the Hurst location. I have only had good experiences
at both locations.

Took my Acura Legend to Danny's for several routine
maintenance tasks over the course of past 3 years and
always felt good about the quality and service provided.
They talked me out of unneccessary service I requested - a
true rarity. I recommend them.

I've known Danny for 15 years and this man's integrity is
beyond reproach. You can find many honest mechanics but you
won't find one more honest and knowledgeable than Danny. His
prices are very competitive with other independents and
beats the hell out of the dealerships. Danny now has two
locations and has an excellent staff at both locations. I
live close to the second location so I don't get to see
Danny as much anymore but I'm just as happy with his second
shop in Hurst. If you are tired of worrying about getting
ripped off by repair shops, take it to Danny's for true
peace of mind.

The a/c on my Honda Accord quit working from one day to the
next. The local dealership charged me $80 for a diagnosis
and concluded that I needed over $1,600 in parts and
labor. YIKES! I wanted an additional diagnosis so I took
it Danny's in Hurst where the manager asked me two
questions (no charge by the way) and concluded that I
needed only 1 part replaced and that the entire bill would
be just over $400. The repair was done as promised and the
a/c system was blowing ice cold air immediately. These
guys are the best, never take your Honda or Acura anywhere
else. By the way, I also had my rear brakes done and saved
substantially over what the dealership would have charged.
This is the only business of any kind that I have ever
endorsed. Eric

I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone with a Honda or Acura
the fine staff at Danny's! I've had minor and major repairs
done there, and they were done well under any dealer's
quoted price. I also asked them to check on my brakes once,
thinking I needed new brakes. Greg took my car for a spin
and said nothing was wrong with the brakes; but my rotor was
warped. No biggie, just a couple of hours and they fixed it,
without extra costly brakes which they said still had plenty
of life on them! They even replaced some screws on the rotor
that the dealer had damaged. Also had my cruise control
switch replaced for MUCH less than the dealers quoted.
My only beef is that the shop is not open on Saturdays/Sundays.
I've seen these guys talk to women who drop off their cars,
and they've always treated them with respect and honesty. I
would feel comfortable sending my grandmother to Danny's.
Can't get much better than that! I will never go to a Honda
dealer again!

I used them first when the dealer told me that my Odyssey
needed a new EGR valve and quoted $550. I saw reviews and
called Danny's and Greg said it would probably be about
$150. That was what the actual charge was. He noted that
were some other error codes but that the valve replacement
usually fixed those and he was right. Later I had an error
code that he said meant I needed a new transmission. He said
there was a silent recall on this and put me in touch with
someone at a dealer so that the whole thing was done free of
charge by Honda. Everything is always done right the first
time and the charges are always reasonable. I traded the
Odyssey for a Pilot because Honda products will always be my
first choice just because I don't want to deal with anyone else.

I was looking for honest and competent guys to trust my car
with on long term basis. Thanks to the reviews in these "M
files", I think I found them here @ Dave's. I believe they
are very competent Honda/Acura mechanics that treat
customers with "real" respect. They don't seem to look for
maximizing their revenue per customer visit. In contrast to
my previous experiences in other places including the
dealerships, they were upfront about what is needed and
what is NOT. I bet (and hope) they make a great business in
the long run. I highly recommend them; wish more businesses
were like them.

I (a female) was visiting Texas to help my daughter move
there, and we were purchasing a used car. We found Danny's
in the Mechanics Files and took a prospective car there for
a pre-purchase check. They provided the most amazing
service! For $37.50, three mechanics spent 45 minutes going
over the car in incredible detail and giving us precise
findings, as well as advising us of the cost of each thing
that might need fixing and some tips for negotiating with
the dealer. They were patient in their explanations and
incredibly friendly. I would recommend them without
hesitation and now only wish that I lived in Texas so I
could take my car there.
