I was living in NYC when I went to the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas. I met a terrific songwriter, Doyle Carver, who was a great guy, & also had an auto garage in Houston. I jokingly said that if I ever bought a car, I'd have to move to Houston because he's the only mechanic I knew who I'd trust. I eventually left NYC, bought a car, & moved out to work on an Apache reservation in Arizona for a couple years. When I left, I drove back East via Houston, where I'd made an appt. for my 30,000 mile check-up. Thorough, precise, regular rate... & he made a list of what I'd need on my next major check-up (which I wouldn't be in Houston for). I recommend him to anyone who lives in the Houston area; he's competent, fair & trustworthy...& if you're lucky he'll sing you one of his songs. Love your show! Thanks! Diane Chodkowski
