This is an honest mechanic. Saved me thousands of dollars versus Dealer estimate. I kept going back until I sold the car. Doesn't say much but can fix Acuras and Hondas in quick and honest fashion. Don't expect to be entertained at shop. Your lucky if you find a seat. Henry emphasizes quality work not fancy digs!

I had my car towed to this shop without every having been there before. I was very fortunate to have found a mechanic so trustworthy and honest. The price was very reasonable, and he was also extremely accommodating. My car was towed there in the morning, and at lunchtime the same day, he picked me up from work downtown in his own car to take me to the shop to pick up my car, which was working great. He specializes in Hondas and Acuras, but I will gladly take my Camry to him again anytime it needs work.

The shop looks like the kind of place where homeless people sleep every night, but don't be fooled! Henry is one of the best and most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with, and he knows Hondas inside and out. He may come off as being rather gruff at first, but that's just his personality: straight to the point, no bull, no sales. The work is always done on time and for the price initially quoted. The only downside is that only Henry decides when he wants to be in the shop, so be sure to call ahead or you may find the doors locked when you arrive. (Upshot: Henry is only there during daylight hours, so my initial comment about the shop's appearance should not scare you away.)

I had two previous mechanics look at my car, one recommending the transaxle needed to be replaced and the other recommending an engine rebuild. Because these were both expensive, I took it for another opinion. I detailed the problems I was getting and he spent maybe 20 minutes doing some brief troubleshooting and was able to tell me exactly what was wrong. He quoted me a price and time and I biked to work as I normally do. I came back and all the work was complete and the problem was entirely fixed. He was a life saver. I cannot recommend him more strongly.
