Well ... Hurricane Allison took it's toll on me - Flooding my car above the dash-board. So everyone said it was a totaled and should be junked. I had taken the car to a mechanic close by but he didn't work on it for 10days so I towed my car(thanks to AAA) to this repair center. This repair center was recommend by a student-friend. He fixed the engine and got the car running in 2days but the electronics was really troublesome. He had to change 2-3 "chips"/controllers - I opted for a refurbished one as it was less than half the price. He took about 2-3weeks but it was worth the wait. He usually gives a student discount of 10% but in my case he reduced it quite a bit. I was expecting about 1800-2000$ in repair but I got billed only $1275. I still have to shampoo the car but my car is in good shape.

Down-to-earth owner. Explains work well. Accommodating. In my estimation, their prices are reasonable. I feel in better hands there than with service writers at the local dealer.

These guys make house calls! Stopped at a gas station yesterday to fill up my tank. Either the car was so shocked by the price of gas - it refused to start OR my battery had simply died at that particular moment. After pouring Cola on the corroded connections and giving it a not quite successful jump - realized that was likely the problem. Felt STUCK. This garage was the nearest and it had positive comments from reviewers on this site. Rafael the manager offered to have a mechanic come to my home to pick up the key. Offered to give me a ride. Very accomodating. I was able to stop by the shop with a borrowed car and the mechanic rode with me to the gas station to install the new battery. And he put up with all my questions so that I could take care of the next battery change myself. Very nice, affordable, and timely. Would return for other work.

Rafael is the owner and is a very sweet man. This is the place I always take my car whenever I need any type of repair. They always explain exactly what the problem is and present me with a variety of choices when it comes to purchasing parts for my car. I know many people who have been here as well and have yet to hear a bad word said against them. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
