Salah has seen to my car immediately every time I have taken it in. On three occasions he has refused to charge me a penny ! He has checked it over completely after a flood and lubed it everywhere for free. He spent one and a quarter hours checking it over before a trip to see if anything should be fixed, then insisted that NOTHING needed fixing and did not not charge me for the check, even when I pressed him to take something ! He is extremely courteous and pleasent and runs a clean well organised garage with modern effective equipment. He is truly a gift from God, I think myself very lucky. I speak only as a grateful cutomer, I do not have anything to gain from this. Lavinia. By the way, your show should be in Canada - speak to the CBC about it !!

Salah did not speak a word of English when he came to America. By very hard work and honesty, he has built a very good business. He always buys good equipment. He treats his employees with dignity. You can tell he cares about his family and the USA. His associate, Elias, is a much a gentleman as Salah. They are great corporate citizens of Houston. I have dealt with them for about 15 years. For me their work has been mostly on Lincoln Town Cars, but has also included a Ford Bronco, GMC Jimmy, Pontiac, and a Mercedes. There are times when you have to ASK Salah to take money. He will be unfair to himself. That does not make a $700 bill any easier when you need serious work, but it does help you believe that a $700 bill from Salah would have been $1000 anywhere else. In dozens of jobs, I cannot recall one where the work had to be redone or modified. Twice I have had cars towed over 100 miles to Salah, figuring the tow charge would be less than the risk of overcharge or incompetence somewhere else. I would like to say he DOES treat women differently, that he treats them with more patience and respect. But it would be untrue. I really believe NO ONE can treat people (regardless of gender) with more patience and respect than Salah treats everyone.

I have been going to Salah's for 15+ years. When my new car
(s)were under warranty, I would ask Salah to diagnose
before taking to Dealership. I totally trust Salah & Elias
with my car. These guys are truly a blessing. They are
honest, friendly, professional, courteous, dependable,
reliable, 'have big hearts', and never make you feel they
are out to get you. Their mechanics are courteous, and
what I have noticed also, Salah & Elias must treat them
well because you don't see a change over in their staff,
always the same group of professional guys! You pay only
for service provided and never have I felt I have been
taken advantage of because I am a female and know
absolutely nothing about cars, other than keep them
maintained by a good mechanic. My children take their
vehicles to Salah's as well, and now, I will refer my
grandchildren so stick around guys! I also confer with
Salah about a new car purchase - what should I buy. I just
love these guys and highly recommend them if you want a
good car doctor!

My 1995 Lincoln town car had a ghost in it! Kept turning
lights on and off; playing with the idiot lights in the
dash, and flicking the CHECK ENGINE light on, off, on,
off... Salah took a whole day to trace the entire
electrical system, looking for the spook!! No Avail!
Salah was mystified! And because he did not find the
culprit; he did not charge me. I came back another day.
Salah continued to search for the WooWoo under the hood,
but again; nothing! This went on for four days! Still no
spook, no fried wires! Not once did Salah charge me, or
act like he was annoyed, that I was taking his time!
Well, here we are years later, I still go to Salah for
every car need, and the spook goes with me too!
