The Murdock's were recommended to me by a friend 3 years ago, and I and my whole family in fact, haven't taken our cars anywhere since. They always have my repairs done w/in a day or two of drop off. Plus they never tell me to do a bunch of extra stuff. On top of all this they put as many cars as possible in at night so that they are not broken into. They care about the car and customer, a nice change these days.

After years of being ripped-off by incompetent, uncaring,
dishonest, and greedy dealer repair shops, I finally took a
friend's advice early this year & brought these folks my
2001 Saturn. I have been treated very politely & fairly
every time in this family-owned & -operated shop. Repairs
have been (with 1 notable exception) accurately diagnosed &
properly repaired, for a very reasonable cost.
They never try to sell me repairs I don't need (I check
belts/hoses/brakes/etc every time I have it in for service,
and a dishonest shop I'm sure would have no qualms telling
me they needed repair/replacement even when this wasn't so).
So, I wasn't overly annoyed when I was advised to wait on an
intermittent problem with the ignition lock that ~1 week
later froze up completely, necessitating a call for roadside
service & an expensive trip to the dealer service dept (it
was a weekend). It was an honest mistake.
Although the shop is not in a swell part of town (what good
mechanics' shop would be?), they are helpful providing rides
to customers. Waiting room is clean and spacious, though a
wifi hot-spot would be nice for customers who wait for
repairs. Saturday hours would be nice too, but good
mechanics need a weekend to rest! These folks are terrific!

Doug did an inspection for a car I was buying from a local
dealer to ensure I was buying quality. I live in Florida.
He took time from his day to look thoroughly at the car and
do a test drive. He called and let me know the overall
condition and areas that needed to be addressed prior to
purchase.
Very helpful and I appreciate his work and efforts. Lori
was also wonderful at the front desk. Nice people.
