My favorite is the time I stopped by and he was explaining to a little old lady in tennis shoes why she did NOT need new brake rotors. Most would have just taken her money! Always fine service, have never had to take anything back in over a decade of his working on my two vehicles and my partner's cars!

In thirty-plus years, Ted, and his previous partner, Dan, never failed to solve my problem correctly and as quickly as the backlog of waiting repairs would allow. I trust them completely and have freely recommended them to others. I feel sorry for people who don't have Ted's Automotive (previously Dan and Ted's Automotive) available to them. If they are uncertain of the solution, they will recommend that you go to the dealer. That's always a sad moment.

Ted and Gary have worked on my cars for approximately 20 years and I always trust them for honesty and reliability. I had a Colt Vista Wagon that was a constant problem, leaked oil for the fun of it, and we never did find out where it was coming from. Finally Ted advised me to sell it because he could not in good conscious attempt to fix it again and take my money. I always take a prospective car purchase to them for an inspection, especially when my ex-husband had picked out something for me! They probably saved me thousands of dollars, and my life by giving me their advice! The fact that they still do business with my ex is nothing I would hold against them - they're smart enought to see one coming! Seriously, they are honest, they have the car ready when they say they will unless there are extenuating circumstances, and they have no problem explaining to a female exactly what the problem is and answering questions. And Ted is dropping a line (as in fishing) somewhere on Saturday or Sunday, so he's closed, but he works 10 to 12 hours Monday through Friday. I would recommend them to anyone.
