have dealt with them since 1971. Have always been pleased with their competency and service. Professional yet friendly and informative.

What an incredible experience! Walking in to Gordons, there's no cloud of confusion or advantage taking. In fact, they only did what needed to be done on my car. It was almost unsettling that a female could walk in to a place and feel like they respected her without a battle. (I've had my share of car dealers and mechanics mistreatment.) I highly recommend Gordons. They care about the customer, something you just don't find very often anymore.

I have dealt with them for 10 years and they have been very helpful. Once I went to a business meeting in Hawaii and left the small children and my Ford car in the hands of an adult babysitter. The car had a problem and was taken to Gordon's. They paged my to Hawaii and when I called back they explained the problem and agreed to fix it right away on my word that I would settle the bill upon my return. They saved my trip! What a nice gesture!

They have been very good every time I have seen them. When I killed my engine on a car, they told me there was an 85% chance it was never working again- before telling me they could make it 100% sure for a charge, or that I didn't have to pay them at all for the three hours of work they had already done. They have to explain everything to me, and are never condescending. And they let me have lots of the free pens.

I first went to Gordon Automotive when the head gasket blew on my wife's
Nissan Sentra. I knew it was going to be expensive, and Henry was
straight up and honest. He didn't tell me to come back in a week (like the
dealer did), he gave me an honest estimate, and they came in below the
estimate. I knew I could trust this place, and I have been taking our cars
there (except for warranty work) for the last ten years. They may not be
the cheapest place in town, but I know I can trust the work to be done
well, I can trust that they won't sell me things I don't need, they keep
records and consult the records when I bring my car in, they are AAA
approved--I just can't say enough about this shop. Heck, one of the guys
behind the counter, Don, even gave me a ride home in his personal vehicle
when the courtesy van was not available. I send all my friends here, and I
recommend this shop without reservation.

They fixed my loose steering column, better than new...and they have a van
to give you a ride to work or home...also, I thought I needed a front end
alignment...and so did my husband...but they said no...switched the front
tires and no more pull to the right...They could have really socked it to me on
that one...very professional...

They replaced my CV joints a month ago, but I've noticed
creaking. I called at 10am and they said bring it in. At
5pm they had it all ready at no cost to me. In fact, they
had determined the one month old ($100 each) joints were
bad, replaced them both with the same brand, determined
that that pair was bad too, and then had put on another
brand that cost $200 each. They fixed it fast and free.
The guys are the real deal. I will now take _everything_
to them. I never do these web survey things either. This
demonstrates how impressed I really am.

I have been trading with Mike Gordon and his crew for over
twenty years and eight vehicles of various manufacture. I
have always been treated fairly, the repairs they suggested
were the right ones, the work was done right the first time
and on time. I got good explanations of the problem at
hand and advice on what needed fixing first and what could
wait when my wallet was thin. There were times they
spotted a safety-related problem before I realized it was
there. The one or two times in twenty plus years that they
didn't get it quite right, they stood behind their work and
found a way to fix it to my satisfaction even if it was a
minor issue. I literally trust them with my life and
safety.

Gordon's did excellent detective work in tracking down and
fixing a bad vibration in the engine of my old truck. That
cured 90% of the vibration, so I took it back in after the
holidays. They spent hours combing over the truck before
deciding it was essentially engine wear. They explained the
diagnosis clearly and told me that I could try fixing it,
but would most likely be wasting money. They then declined
to take any money for all the time and effort because they
"couldn't fix it"! Candid and honest, personable service
managers, excellent customer service -- I'm a customer for life!
