Charles and John are supremely honest in their dealings. I am a worrier and listen to my car closely. More than once I have gone in and they said "Well there is a wheel bearing off but by next oil change we'll know exactly which one." Be fore I go an a long trip they'll carefully check out the car. Last time they said I needed an alignment which they don't do. But they gave me the name of a shop that did the work, called ahead for me and talked to a mechanic there before I went to make sure he knew what needed to be done. They offer really cheap oil changes to regular customers. They figure they can check out the car and pick up small problems before they become big ones. And they don't have to fix up the messes quicky places make of the cars. And they hand wash the car before they return it. The only time they vacuumed was the time I spilled a box of oatmeal in the back. They said they figured I didn't want that back. I carry their cards. Everyone I have sent to them has raved and thanked me.

Since I am a listener and worrier, more than once I've shown up with, "I hear a noise." They will drive the car with me, or stand outside or put the hood up or whatever combination I come up with. They always know what the noise is but will say, "Drive it another ___ miles and bring it back and we'll know just what to do." More than once they've told me I don't need work done. Last time I went in with a dead battery, they recommended replacement, called and had the right one delivered and replaced it for no labor. I recommend them to all my friends and they all thank me for telling them about these guys. As a woman, it is so nice to know that you are not getting ripped off and they are not condescending even when you've done something stupid.
