This guy's great! I'm on my second Honda, and he's always helped me keep both running well over 100,000. He never tries to tell you more repairs are necessary than really are. When I first went to him, I took his estimate to three different places, and he was by far the lowest and fastest. I've had some problems that other places couldn't even figure out, and he nailed them both. Now I live in Waco, but will take my car up to him if ever I need another repair.

They repaired my 1992 Toyota pickup when the timing chain broke and I am pleased with the repair and overall experience. Robert discussed my options and provided what I believe is reasonable advice. Once I decided to proceed with the repair his shop completed the work in the time frame estimated and with no surprise charges. I was surprised though at the unexpected attention to detail and replacement of minor parts like hoses and belts at no additional charge. My truck ran very well and when I detected minor pinging I took it back and the problem was investigated and corrected while I waited. If I ever need other mechanical work done on my truck I will take it back to this shop.

I got this name from the Car Talk database and decided to give them a try. I'm sure I'll go back. Price was reasonable and car was ready before promised time. Robert seems to know his subject matter very well.

Shop was highly competent in fixing multiple oil leaks of my car. Robert was direct (e.g. no-BS) in explaining initial problems found and dead-on his estimates of time-to- complete and final cost. Robert also forthright in providing maintenance tips and engine information. I'd return to this shop in a heartbeat for any future engine issue that had to be fixed.

The chief mechanic Robert was honest and helpful with both his tune-up and advice for future maintenance. The price was VERY reasonable and I only was without my car 1 day. I highly recommend this shop for at least Toyota maintenance!

I was very pleased with the work performed on my Lexus. The dealership would have charged me an arm and leg for routine maintenance. Robert's prices are very competitive and he was very patient with me in explaining everything he did. I trust his judgment and would have no problem returning. His address is 4321 Lindbergh, Addison.

I went to this auto shop for my Rav 4 because of the reviews in CarTalk. I needed fairly extensive maintenance work - timing belt, shocks/struts, brakes all around, and tune-up. Also, my gas pedal was sticking up when I released it and the car would lurch when I depressed it again. I also was having a little problem with the steering wheel being stiff when I first started the car. Robert told me to bring the car in on Monday evening and it would be ready by Wednesday afternoon. My thinking was "no way." He explained everything to me that he would be doing along with the work being done - water pump change, hoses, belts, etc. Sure enough, the car was done by 3:00 on Wednesday for the price we discussed. I had one minor problem after I got it back, took the car in on Saturday morning, and it was fixed within 10 minutes. That was 14,000 miles ago and I have had no problems since. I drive 120 miles a day to work and am thrilled to have a mechanic I can trust and who will actually repair the car. Oh yes, the gas pedal was strictly a stuck throttle and he sprayed it to clean it. The steering wheel, he said, was stiff because there was too much power steering fluid. I recommend this garage to anyone with a Japanese car. He uses all factory parts so they really fit the vehicle they were designed for, as opposed to non-factory parts.
