Mike generally suggests rebuilt or off-brand parts to save you more money, but he gives a good value even when you specify new, specific name-brand parts.

Mike always checks the used cars before we buy. When my son bought a car from a fellow student (all that was wrong was it "bounced") Mike felt sorry for him. The bouncing was caused by ruined hydrolic shocks which had bent some support in the transmission. He had to take out and repair transmission side gear?, repair or replace shocks, struts, springs, fix an oil leak, oil pressure gauge, and kept it under $700. He is very good about explaining everything he does. Mike even checked out an engine replacement done by another mechanic I wish I could warn everyone about. Good luck everybody! Betty

After my mechanic passed away, I was in the market for a new one. Mike and Wanda's shop was number four, and I didn't hear about them until they were recommended by a body shop near by. I am thankful to have found them. They seem to be honest and will work with you in an emergency. Sometimes both of my crappy cars are there at once and they always try to get me on the road by the end of the day. My only complaint is that they never quite seem to find the problem the first time--but they amend their prices when its their mistake....PRICELESS!
