When I took my VW Cabriolet to thee guys at 7:30 AM, they had NPR on the radio in their office. I instantly knew they were okay. They did extra work on it (Minor body repair and even had to make a part!) and didn't charge any extra. They work on any european car as far as I know.

Frank is a perfectly sarcastic optimist. I felt right at home in the office listening to NPR while waiting for the 75,000 mile Volvo tune up that cost $750 at the dealer & a fraction of that here. The work is dependable, the shop clean, the mechanics seems to enjoy their job & working conditions.

Frank et al have worked on several BMWs for us. He told me to fix the rattle I heard was a $700 job on the exhaust, but it wasn't hurting anything, he'd live with the rattle. It still rattles. I had an oil change and noticed some oil in the garage when I got home. Took it back and it was fixed in about 5 minutes.

Good shop so far. They have worked on my '98 VW Jetta that is hitting the 100000 mi wall and I have been happy w/their work and attitude. Pricing seems reasonable. We were recently looking for a second used car and they seemed to go out their way to find what we were looking for at a local dealer. Bought the Volvo they found so we will see if our good feelings about them hold up.

Traveling to Nashville for my wife and my daughter's birthdays. After arriving, the check engine light on my 2002 VW Passat goes on. The next morning, I scramble for a mechanic, check Car Talk database and choose Auto Haus. In less than 1 1/2 hours, I was ready to go. The price was very reasonable; they could have screwed me, but didn't. They explained what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. They even warned that the thermostat might need to be replaced when we got back (which it does), but that I probably didn't want to sit in their shop for 3 hours. Frank kept us entertained with stories and fed us cheese crackers while we waited. If I lived in Nashville, I would go to Auto Haus and let Will and Frank take care of my car.
