I have never taken our cars to this garage, personally. My wife has always taken the cars and has always gotten excellent service. Why screw up a good thing?! These guys have worked on both of our automobiles ('92 Toyota Camry Wagon LE 3.0 6 Cyl with automatic and '85 Honda Accord LX Sedan with automatic), from the simple to the complex, and have always gotten the job done. I have lived in Nashville since 1971 (driving my own cars since '76) and had always had a difficult time finding a garage or a mechanic I could trust. I trust these guys. Whenever I've spoken to them on the phone to answer/ask questions, they've always been honest and straightforward. At times, I thought that a repair would be complex and expensive and it has turned out to be a simple matter; we've even been charged $0.00 (ZERO DOLLARS!) a few times. For example, when the car had an intermittent start problem and we towed it in and they found that the connection to the starter was loose. The Toyota dealer had tried several things and charged us for them but could not permanently fix the problem. Another time, it was discovered that the Camry was leaking quite a bit of fluid/oil on the floor in our garage and we had them check out the car. When we picked it up late that evening, the bill was only for the one-half hour of labor to replace two clamps at either end of a badly worn out hose to the transmission (something like $30). There was no charge for the clamps/hose/fluid. I feel that any other garage would have tried to rip us off. Either that, or the competition would turn out to be extremely incompetent. I have no ties to this garage other than recommendation of the wife of a co-worker my wife works with in her office. It's quite refreshing to find a mechanic you can trust! Thanks, BZ

These guys are very trustworthy and fair with their pricing. I always have dreaded taking cars for service but Lawson's makes it quite painless.

These guys are great. They work on both a '99 Jeep and an '03 Subaru for us. Over several year's of service, they're consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and always seem to do a great job. We haven't shopped around, so I don't know how their prices compare.
