On July 12, 2010 I paid TiedtÂ's Automotive for replacing
the clutch assembly on my Â'93 white, 2 dr Explorer. I
drove the vehicle 7 miles to work and return about 14
days. Before taking another vehicle to Tiedt's for
possible repair, I inspected the clutch area on the '93
Explorer and found the two skirted nuts that holds the
transmission to the crossmember broken. I checked the
fluid level in the transmission. I found no fluid in the
transmission. The trans had began to whine earlier. I
sent a certified letter to the garage describing what I
found, but not asking for money, but I simply asked the
mechanic to do what was right, but no response. 5 weeks
later, I notified BBB in Nashville and the garage did not
respond to BBB either. I heard by rumor from a automotive
supplier to the garage that 1-2 unhappy employees may have
damaged several customersÂ' vehicles before leaving
employment there. This complaint is my effort to help the
public to be aware of this garage.
