I had heard from a number of friends over the years that Dennis was the mechanic to see for car repairs. They were so right!! What a pleasant, honest person to deal with. Ours was a choice between buying a 2006 Lexus RX or bringing our 2000 RX with 91k miles up to date on maintenance(timing belt, water pump, fluid replacement, etc) Dennis Hall's estimate was $900. versus Lexus of Knoxville's $1,600+. During the work process it was determined that the work was going to run over till the next day. Dennis called, said he was sorry, and offered a loaner car, no charge I'd strongly recommend this shop. I have taken three different cars to Dennis Hall's. What first impressed me (and still impresses me) is that they have several times explained why we do not need a repair which we thought we did, or were able to offer a cheaper alternative. They are in the business of fixing your car, rather than taking your money. All repairs have always been thoroughly explained to me before being performed, and the repairs always were done right. The only time an error was made (a bolt was not tightened down properly), they didn't try to hide their mistake, they fixed the problem immediately, and they gave me coupons for free oil changes to make up for their mistake. Dennis Hall's specializes in Hondas and Acuras, but they will work on most Japanese imports. I highly recommend them.

I have had Dennis Hall Honda service my Hondas for years now, as well as my son's Hondas. They do a great job and very honest. I trust my mechanic more than my doctor, how sad is that? I have my oil changes done there as well as scheduled maintenance. They are very reasonably and fairly priced, and I don't have to worry about them pushing a bunch of crap I don't need on me. They have a successful business by doing good work without all the up-sell crap. I have happily recommended them to all Honda owners, sure beats our dealers around here, ick ick. The best!

We have been taking our Toyota to Dennis Halls for several years. They are always excellent; friendly, competent, and honest. We have them do everything for our car they can - oil changes, tires, etc. We feel very confident that they will do the best by our car (over 15 years old), as they have consistently done so in the past. The bottom line is: these are mechanics that can be trusted. Top of the line.

I had an estimate from the dealer for almost 3 times the price they charged to replace a timing belt--and he fixed a couple of small things at no charge. (The dealer failed to replace a fuse that kept the automatic locks from working-- and didn't put on the license plates that I had sitting in the seat and asked to be put on until I picked the car up and asked a second time.) The owner, Dennis, happily shuttled me back and forth with no waiting time. I have since called to ask for advice on repairs covered by warranty and been given straight forward free advice. These guys are great!!!!
