The above questions about the business does not relate correctly here. The repair facility I'm writing about was 'in the sticks', so to speak. What does relate here are comments about the work/service provided. I'm posting here to praise Cherokee Towing for outstanding service. Cherokee Towing is owned by Terry Goben with 'Wayne' serving as chief mechanic. Both of these guys were outstanding. Also at Cherokee Towing, (and holding the fort down while Terry is out on calls) is his wife. By talking to any one of these people you can quickly tell you are dealing with fair, hard-working people. Recently I had occasion to deal with Cherokee Towing when my daughter's engine in her Buick (my old car) died (engine seized) while in east Tennessee. To make a long story shorter, Cherokee Towing took the time to track down a good junk yard replacement engine and then installed it for her. And the amazing thing is the car is running better than ever! (My experience is that projects as big as an engin e swap often end screwed up by the mechanics. But know, the Cherokee Towing did it right. All vacuum-lines back on their appropriate places; all bolts tight; etc., etc.. Thank you Cherokee Towing for being such straight forward people. I can't say enough as to how pleased I am with the engine swap results. Sincerely, William Bruse
