I am very impressed by the way Mr. Daniel Lynn explains the
problem and the different options for fixing it,
including "keep driving it til it breaks." He has about 3
mechanics in his shop and does not wish to get any bigger
because that would interfere with the personal attention he
gives to every customer.
Susan, the receptionist/gopher/everything else girl, is a
hoot. Just try to get her to shut up.

I was extremely satisfied with Lynn Auto. I had a problem
that I thought would involve buying expensive replacement
parts, but they took the time to check other possible
problems, and found a much less expensive solution.

Yes, susan is a hoot. They are very good at explaining
options. I have had some repairs come in under the estimate.

My husband's thunderbird had a part on it that broke and
would cost a lot of money to repair. The car's warrenty
had expired, but Daniel made some calls and found out that
that particular part had its own warrenty and we won't
have to pay a dime if we took it to a Ford dealership. He
was honest with us from the very beginning. We have been
taking our cars there for years and wouldn't go anywhere
else for repairs.

Based on reviews here, we decided to try Lynn's hoping to
find an honest shop that we would use regularly in the
future. The problem with the vehicle was not obvious (some
sort of battery/electrical issue that had caused the car to
die a few times). We were told that if they could not
reproduce the problem that we would not be charged the $70
fee for diagnosis - not sure if that's standard or not, but
it's what we were told. We were told they could inspect it
on a Tuesday, but when we called shortly before they closed,
they had not yet looked at it - not terrible, sometimes
places get behind. However, we were then told that we would
be called the next morning, which we were not. So, after
waiting nearly another day to get word, we're told they
can't find anything wrong with it. However, when we picked
the car up, they attempted to charge not only the $70 but
another $15 for cleaning battery cables and the throttle
valve, which the technician told us was part of his
diagnostic attempts. So, we were being charged when they had
told us we would not be, and being charged extra for work
that was not authorized. I won't say that this is a terrible
shop, but I do not appreciate the way we were treated.
