Superb Volvo mechanic. Has kept my '86 240 running for its 460,000 miles.

These guys are very cool to talk to. Volvo junkyard is a Volvo lovers heaven. Be careful and tell them what you specifically want done to your car or they may do more.....with good intentions but hard for someone on a budget. Jim knows a little something about everything and a lot about Volvos. The 3 or 4 huge, German Shepards are friendly......during the day, but I would not recommend loitering around there at night. Donnie a great mechanic. Wily, beautiful body work. These guys always have a few minutes to chew the fat with you. Great place for Volvo lovers.

Jim Long was willing to stop in Chattanooga on his way to Dalton, Georgia to pick up my 2001 Volvo S60. (Had a mass air sensor go bad). The charge for the towing was 25% or what AAA would have charged to tow it back to their shop! Their work is impeccable. They are honest and willing to take the time to provide detailed information about the problem and the options available. Due to the massive "Volvo graveyard" which surrounds the shop, frequently parts can be obtained for a fraction of the cost.
