Being a female with no particular interest and no knoweledge of cars i have always hated to have to take my car in for any repair. As a rule they treat you like an imbecile unable to understand and willing to accept anything they say as true. I have a '91 Isusu Trooper and this year the air conditioner stopped working. I took it to one place (a male friend went with me) left it over night and the next moring I was told that the air conditioning would have to be replaced and it would cost $777.68. I declined and thought it might be time to search for a newer car, but after a couple of days I decided to get it fixed cause I really like the vehicle. I called H. Complete Auto Repair ( found number in phone book) to compare prices and I was told that I would have to bring the car in before they could tell me how much it would cost. I told them what the other repair place had said and he said "but sometimes people lie". I took it in the next day and he called me that afternoon, told me had checked it for leaks had not found any, he filled it with freon and my air conditioner works great for $68.85. I've been back to them with two other minor problems and they have consistantly been courteous, informative, and if it's something minor they just go ahead and fix it right then while they are looking at it. I was so impressed that I reccommended them to my Dad, he took his Mercedes convertible in (it's old too and it wouldn't start)and he was equally pleased with the service.
