I began taking my vehicle to Whitworth Brothers when I was sixteen years old. I am now thirty-two, and they are still the only mechanics that I trust. Even when I lived in California for almost seven years, I still brought my car to them whenever I was in town. The primary mechanics, Joe and Rick, are brothers who have always worked together and have been mechanics for their entire lives. They are honest, trustworthy, knowledgable, and fair. There is not another automotive repair shop in the world that I would go to!

My family has been going to this same shop for years. It took us a while to find a good mechanic in Memphis and once we did we stuck with them. Whitworth is family owned and operated and is a pleasure to do business with. I would suggest calling ahead to make sure they have time for your car, if they do not, they will schedule it. In the 10 years and 5 cars may family has taken there we have had only one problem which the shop happily corrected at their cost. NEVER have they done work which was not needed. They do not have the lowest prices in town, but they are more than fair and they back up their work better than any other shop I know. Give them a try, you will be pleased.

They offered me a ride home when I needed one. The have always been reliable and honest and refered me to an alignment specialist without charging for looking at my truck when they weren't able to do the work themselves.

Been using them for about 20 years. Family business. About five years ago, they moved to their current location. Previously, they were located approx 2 miles away, now about 15 miles. Worth the drive. Multiple times when I asked if I needed work done on the car, they checked and said I didn't or that I didn't need the expensive repair that I mentioned but one that cost $20. Seem to treat male and female customers equally. Not open on weekends. Molly, the dog, they daily bring to the shop, is friendly and always willing to accept a treat.
