I moved from PA in 1996 with my 1990 Honda Civic to the Summerville SC area . I took my car to the local Honda dealers for service and was greatly displeased with the service and also the attitude of the service people at the dealerships. The Import Service Center was recommended to me by a co- worker and I've been taking my car there ever since. Their Honda mechanic (George) is great and I will not let anyone else touch my Honda engine!!! My car now has 168k miles and is good to go for another 100K. When the timing belt was changed at 90K, I began the routine maintenance as if the mileage was -0-. So I have actually had the 30K and 60K maintenance done twice, the second time by ISC. I compared the prices of the second maintenance with the original maintenance done in 1992 and found that ISC only charged about $7 more than the original maintenance!!!! They are honest, fair and do not over price!! And I am completely satified with their work!! I have recommended them to my friends and they all take their cars for service there...

This is the first time I used this shop for my 1999 Acura TL. I took it in for a 90K check and everything went well. Their rates are reasonable ($58/hr) and I did save over $200 when compared to the cost of a 90K inspection at the dealership. I did ask about a future repair that I would like to make, the replacing of the fuel sending unit and what it might cost and I was a little surprized when they quoted me a labor time of 2.3 hours for the repair. The Chilton Labor time book calls for a repair time of 0.8 for this repair by a qualified tech. I am not sure why this happened, but I did call back the next day and advise them that the Acura dealership charges only 1.0 hours for this repair, but they stuck bye their original quote, so I don't know. I will use them again, but I am not sure why the software they use for labor charges, would differ so much from Chilton.

Bob and the crew have been taking care of my (at one time or another) VW, Nissan, Toyota and Mitsubishi for the last 23 years. Before Bob, it was his father. I trust them implicitly! I take it in, I tell 'em the problem, they fix it, I pay a fair price. I highly recommend!

Great shop. Honest, friendly people and fair prices. Found out about them via word-of-mouth after having a horrendous experience at the N. Charleston VW dealership and have been happy ever since.

I've dealt with the Yarborough family for the last 27 years with my VW, Nissan, Toyota, Scion and Infiniti. I trust them implicitly. I go in, tell them the problem and walk out. I know they will fix the problem with the least amount of time and money, compared to dealers. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I have had my Acuras serviced at ISC since 1992.Currently I own two Acuras that have been serviced there since they were new.George is outstanding and checks everything even on oil changes.ISC prices are comparable to new car dealerships but I find them more reliable. The shop is as clean and orderly as a Toyota or Honda plant.
