This father & son shop has worked on both of our Hondas (Oddessey + CRV) and have always provided good reliable work. They have also worked on 2 of our sons' cars (Ford + Chevy) and they have also been very satisfied. On one occassion when a part failed after installation, they replaced and repaired quickly and without additional charge. On the occassion of a failing emmissions control part, they recommended taking it to the local Honda dealer because there was an advisory out extending the warranty on thye part. My cost was $0 for both their exam & recommendation, as well as the warranty work by Honda. Very fair, honest, and hardworking shop.

My wife and I spend the winter in Myrtle Beach. I used Car Talk to pick this firm. As the previous reviewer said, they are honest, fair, and I would add - know what they are doing. I don't know what else you can ask for - maybe Car Talk piped into the waiting room?

I was visiting this area when my car stopped shifting--I thought that my car's transmission died. I Googled Honda transmission repair, and this shop popped up. I trusted the reviews and had my Acura towed here. The service was beyond phenomenal. Not only did they fix my car, but AJ, one of the owners, showed me where my mechanic back home had unplugged some of the connectors which caused my transmission to act faulty. He really took the time to take off the engine cover and show me exactly what went wrong and what to look for if I took in my car somewhere else and it acted up again. Not only were they EXTREMELY reasonable with their charges, they saved me $2k since I did not have to buy a new transmission--which the other shop 300 miles away said I needed. (My transmission is fine). AJ also typed up a full report as to what he did and typed up what parts I may need later down the road. If I lived within a 60-mile radius, I would make them my primary shop. As it is, I may have to plan my vacations around my vehicle maintenance!!
