If you are looking for a clean, high tech shop then go elsewhere. Steve and Melvin get dirty and their place is no different. It looks like a dump but the work is first class. Steve is a gung-ho ex-marine with a good sense of humor and a dog who likes to play in the ditches behind the shop. Steve claims to be angered by this but we know who wears the pants in that family.

I found this shop through your web site because my mother needed a dependable, honest mechanic. They fixed her car in one day at a price that was more than fair. Melvin is an extremely nice guy and took the time to explain the problem to us "girls". We will be back!!

The old Chevy truck needed a charge for the AC. At a previous time an AC specialty shop switched the freon to meet EPA regs. We brought the book with us so this shop would use the correct stuff. However, the guys were drunk, and said that it didn't they used the wrong type of freon...permanently ruining our AC. They over charged us $337 and would not make it right. Steve does not work there anymore. Too bad. He was honest and sober.
