I was new in the Burgh, and Bernie was refered to me by my neighbor, who happens to be a carnie. Bernie had been working for about 15 years on his succession of GMC "dualie" pickups that he used to haul his fun house. I went over to Bernie for a PA state inspection, was treated well and was satisfied with the experience. Even more so, when I saw my friend, and he informed me that evidently I had passed Bernie's client inspection, too, as Bernie told him that I "Had a nice truck." Now, I'm driving an F-150 with about 160,000 miles on it, and it's no beauty, but I do take good care of it (most repairs on my own). A repairman who vets his customers based on how well they take care of their vehicles is to me a pretty good sign of how he'll treat you & your ride. So far, Bernie's proven that true.

We have three vehicles that I completely trust Bernie and his staff to keep in excellent running condition. He has repaired everything from transmission to quirky "gremlin" type electrical problems my husband's Cadillac was having. Our cars are a l989 BroncoII with approx 135,000miles, a Cadillac with 185,000 miles and my daughters 1994 Honda civia with a little over 100,000 miles. I refer Bernie to anyone I know who is looking for a service garage. You can be assured that when you bring your auto in for an inspection or any type of work, he won't release it until everything passes, which I myself respect him for, that is the reason we bring our autos to a certified shop.
