When I first bought my used BMW, I asked a BMW newsgroup to recommend a mechanic. The unanimous answer was Bill Ballon. I went to his shop exclusively for the four years I was in Pittsburgh and always received excellent service - inspections, brakes, transmission, and fixing my DIY mistakes. He's good with both daily drivers and track preparation. With the exception of body work, did everything I ever needed on the car.

Always repaired my car properly. He had all of the BMW
information and tools since he only works on BMWs. I've
used this shop for 10 years and he's always done a good
job. Very honest.

Bill Ballon is "the name" in Pittsburgh for BMW repair and maintenance. We have
1970's BMW 2002, and it runs better than our "everyday" cars. Kudos to Bill.

NOT RECOMMENDED. He will use your car to pick up OTHER
clients and then charge you for the gas. He is MOODY and
will get ANGRY at you if you call him for an update.
