They are half a block off Ridge Ave (lots of Septa buses are available). They also let us drop off and pick up when they aren't open. We just put the key in the drop box and found a bill on the seat when we got back that night. Then we just drop off a check for that amount. Except for routine stuff like inspections and oil changes, they always called to let us know how much it was going to cost to get whatever it was repaired. Very reasonable. They also don't treat me (a woman) like I don't know what they're talking about. My dad raised me right so I generally understand what it is they're trying to do. They only accept cash/check. Doc figures he knows where you live if you need to make other arrangements. We brought our Honda in a couple of times expecting a new clutch but each time they adjusted it and charged less than $20 (he said he wanted to sell us that new clutch but just couldn't do that yet). The same 10 year old Honda needed a new air conditioning compressor. They invested a couple of days of searching for used compressors since he figured a new one would outlast the car. Walked away with a small bill that day too.
