They are just a very good and honest repair shop. The shop is always clean. If they cannot fix something, they will tell you. Mechanics and owners are compentent and courteous and take the time to explain the repair. I was referred to them by a friend and have since referred many friends. They have all been satisfied. Their price is not the lowest, but they get the job done right and do it right the first time, almost always. I tried many other repair shops and dealers in the area before I found Parkers. They are the best. I have had them work on two used cars - a 1987 Volkswagen Golf and a 1994 Honda Civic.

After going through a myriad of repair shops in the Erie area with my first car, I found you had a choice around here: you could choose between honesty, competence or a reasonable price. All seem to have 1 or 2 but not all 3. I became so disgusted that when I bought my 2nd car (a new Civic) the only place I would let service it (besides oil changes/tires) was the dealer (Street Track n' Trail) – 45 minutes away. It was well worth the price to get the 3 qualities listed above. Then a relative told me that Parker's garage was good. So when my wife took the Civic and I got a used Cadillac, I gave them a shot the first trouble I had. Bernie (the owner?) took the time to explain the problem over the phone, talk with me about alternatives and had the repairs done the next day. Not the least expensive place in town but a lot more reasonable than a dealer and they have all 3 qualities listed above, so they are the only place I go when I have car trouble now.
