I drive 56 miles each way to get to these guys, and they're worth it. Out of earshot from them (at a model train shop in Somerville, NJ), the Alfa zone manager called them "the gold standard." Believe it or not, they have talked me out of repairs I wanted them to do, saying, "let it go for now and fix it when it gets worse," and "here is a cheaper way to get this done." Over the years, I have bought three used Alfas (other than one I bought from Algar, which ran OK when I got it from them, of course), and after they have been to Algar, they have all come back running better, even when I thought they were running OK to begin with. These guys know their stuff. Mark Cedrone is the Service Manager, and some of the good mechanics are Kevin, Tony, and Luigi.
