My parents bought cars from Zook Motors for years and years, and always raved about their service. I had no direct experience with them, until my Mom's car recently had an unfortunate incident while I was visiting the old homestead. At first we were told the car would be totaled. John Zook launched into action, scanning Ford releases and regional auctions for a suitable replacement vehicle. When I called to ask how to remove the back seats (to remove contents from trunk), he offered to come to my Mom's home (10 miles away) to do this for us. When the insurance company decided the car wasn't totaled after all, and we thought she would need a rental car, Mr. Zook offered to pick my Mom up at her home or bring the rental car to her. Zook Motors does not do body work, but when the car has been repaired, they are going to collect it from the body shop so they can perform the safety inspection (currently due) before my Mom picks it up. At all phases os this fiasco, Mr. Zook patiently explained all complexities in a way that my 83 year old Mom could understand. I have only one complaint about this company - they aren't located anywhere near Portland, Oregon!
