I've been taking various cars to Bob (either in his own shop or when he worked at another VW shop that has since closed) for over twenty years now. He's never let me down in all that time. I've been living in Chicago for the past eight years but have maintained a relationship with Bob all during that time. On many occasions, when dealing in Chicago with mechanics who haven't been as familiar with VWs, Bob has made himself available via phone to answer questions, give advice or offer the names and phone numbers of the parts stores where he gets the best deals. Between myself and my mother, Bob has watched over four cars for us since the mid-eighties. I've never owned a brand-new car and, as long as he's in business, will never need to. As a woman, it's very important to me to have a mechanic I can trust. Pittsburgh women: you can trust Bob's Service to always do right by you. Volkswagen owners: Bob has been working on these cars for over twenty years. He knows what he's doing - you can't go wrong with him.
